For two and a half decades, Jill Collins has been successfully building entertainment, publishing, consumer products and retail brands. A “concept-to-consumer” marketer, Jill has designed sales, promotion, media, product placement, and licensing programs for more than 500 feature films, 175 television series, 200 consumer products brands, 23 restaurant chains and 25 retailers.
Jill’s top-tier strategic insight combined with broad-ranging tactical experience makes her the consummate entertainment marketing professional. She has worked at two studio groups (Warner Bros. and Paramount) where she developed promotion, licensing, and retail business development campaigns for brands including Star Trek, Charmed, Space Jam, and Sabrina: The Animated Series.
Jill’s experience extends to the agency and account service environment. At top family marketing agency, Strottman International, Jill spent more than a decade aligning clients such as Lowe’s, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, Mattel, Cendant Hotels, Kmart, LeapFrog, and 76 gas stations with partners like Monsters University, Madagascar 3, Monster Jam, Sesame Street, National Wildlife Federation, Kraft Macaroni ‘n Cheese, Cheetos, Apple, Sony’s PS2, NASA, and the US Mint, building Strottman’s partnership group into the highest-volume promotional licensing group in the US during her tenure. Prior to that, Jill also managed the product placement, promotion, and account service matters for Norm Marshall and Associates’ entire portfolio of consumer products brands including Dunkin’ Donuts, 7UP, Barton Beers, Allied Domecq, USA Today, Hostess, and Nestle.
Jill has also worked extensively in-house in the toy and gift space on product development, sales force incentives, retail programs and licensing for Applause, LLC. Jill was originally hired to manage the $40MM Disney Consumer Products gift line, but shortly thereafter became ultimately responsible for all brand financial planning, and sales promotion. While there, Jill built the leading entertainment character licensing portfolio in the gift industry (at the time).
In January 2015, Jill opened Perfect Science with the aim of delivering ground-breaking promotion, partnership, licensing and business development programs in a high-service environment for entertainment IP, consumer products, publishing, and leisure brands.
